Japan food contamination fears rise

Japan's government has warned some areas that tap water, milk and spinach may be radioactive. With the news that seawater around Fukushima contains high levels of radioactive iodine, sushi is also off the menu for some.

Contamination levels are increasing, and although they are not yet considered dangerous, the international market is beginning to react. China and Taiwan have announced extra tests on Japanese food imports, while the US has banned the import of produce from the affected zone.
