The UK’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has created an interactive game allowing people to decide how they would organise the country’s energy needs.
The game, called My2050, challenges the user to create a situation where the UK’s energy requirements are satisfied while hitting the 2050 goal of reducing carbon emissions by 80%.
Using slide controls, there is an option to increase or reduce onshore and offshore wind, solar, nuclear, gas, hydro, biofuels and fossil fuel. People will then be able to submit their preference to the DECC.
