1.7 MW in Gran Canary: Conergy builds largest on-roof system in the Canaries

Conergy installed the largest solar rooftop system on the Canary Islands. The 1.75 kilowatt power plant is located on the 14,000 square metre roof of the coffee roaster Emicela in Aqüimes on Gran Canary. The investor of the new solar installation is Bankia. In a record time of only two months, the Conergy engineers installed more than 7,600 Conergy PowerPlus Modules and more than 15 kilometres Conergy SolarFamulus and SunTop III mounting systems. Annually the premium modules produce 2,600 megawatt hours of electricity from the canary sun in the future. A total of 72 Conergy inverters from the IPG series feed the electricity into the local grid. The power plant in the idyllically
