Happy Birthday to Coca-Cola: 125th Birthday of Coca-Cola 8th May 2011

The world's largest single building illumination at the headquarters of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, the United States, The world's largest soft-drink company will celebrate the 125th birthday of Coca-Cola on May 8. Coca-Cola was created on May 8, 1886 in Atlanta, Georgia by Dr. John Pemberton.

As Coca-Cola approaches its 125th birthday, we're taking a trip down memory lane with a special celebratory advert. To thank you, our consumers, we're remembering moments of happiness that we've shared since 1886. We see Coca-Cola sharing in celebrations across the generations: birthdays, weddings and Millennium Eve parties. 'I'd Like To Buy The World A Coke' plays in the background, which originally featured in our iconic 'Hilltop' advert of 1971.
