Blue Energy from Holland

In Harlingen in the north of Holland researchers are testing a promising method to produce energy from mixing fresh and salt water. If they succeed, they could be sitting on a gold mine. Because of the wide availability of places where rivers discharge into oceans, the researchers believe the technology could eventually produce 20-40% of the total energy supply.
