EU set to relook its fisheries policy and stop throw-back fish

The European Union [EU] has called for new rules governing fishing in European waters, amid fresh concerns about supplies. The EU says it wants to safeguard supplies for the future, as the European fisheries commissioner says 75 per cent of EU stocks are overfished. However, there are concerns among some fishermen that part of the new policy could lead to job losses.
