TEDxFloripa 2011: A bridge can change a lot

A bridge can change a lot. Between places, people, cultures, ideas - between the islands. An archipelago of all these elements, the city of Florianópolis - also known as Floripa - is the meeting point of the first TEDx of Santa Catarina State, Brazil. "The bridge, the islands" is the theme chosen to express this diversity, composed of several islands linked in various ways as well - or possibly isolated.

The city that hosts the most varied intentions can be seen as a network of behaviors and different backgrounds, artistic events, holiday excitement, natural beauty, historical references, technological development. Each person who comes here has the opportunity to experience the city in accordance with their expectations, creating their own bridges. More than location, what you see here is a global phenomenon in which connections are the central point.
