Chicago firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill to build world's fourth tallest building in China: Wuhan Greenland Center

Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill architecture has accomplished another feat by winning the international bid to design Wuhan Greenland Center at Wuhan, a meeting point of Yangtez and Han rivers. The building will highlight China on the world map as it will be the fourth tallest building in the world. The Chicago based firm will be leading an interdisciplinary team consisting of various renowned firms like Thortan Tomasetti for structural engineering, PositivEnergy Practise, an energy service firm and other architect firms HOK Architects, GMP Architects and P&T Architects, for building the 606 meters (1988 feet) building within a span of five years.
