A solar phone charger for rural areas by Nokera

Almost 500 million of the world’s cell phone owners live in places with no immediate access to electricity. Villagers, who live in rural and poor areas, often have to travel long distances to reach a place where they can charge their mobile phones. In the places where mobile phones can be charged, vendors ask exorbitant prices to let you charge your phone.

Nokero is solving the problem and developed a 1-watt P101 solar charger which can directly charge a typical mobile phone in three hours. The 2-watt P102 solar charger powers up a similar phone in 1.5 hours. The pocket-sized panels are USB compatible and come with phone adapters.
