U.S. Geothermal's Neal Hot Springs project is under way. Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon led a forum of energy influentials at a 2011 event at Portland's Ecotrust Building -- A Renewable Energy "First" for Oregon. U.S. Geothermal CEO Daniel Kunz; Department of Energy Senior Fellow Steve Spinner; Enbridge executive John Whelen, and Renewable Northwest Project executive director Rachel Shimshak also presented at the event in downtown Portland's Pearl District.
