WFTD 2011: Ben & Jerry's Donates Your Spare Twitter Characters to a Good Cause: Fair Tweets

Every day, millions of Twitter characters go unused. That's not very fair. But now you can tweet as you normally would, and Ben & Jerry’s turn any leftover characters into a message about Fair Trade. Now that's fair.

So, Ben & Jerry’s is asking Twitter users to donate their spare Twitter characters in honor of World Fair Trade Day on May 14. Ben & Jerry’s launched a Twitter application that squeezes a message and link about World Fair Trade Day in the leftover characters of one’s tweets.
