Turn any surface into a touchscreen: ZeroTouch

You could turn your television - or any surface for that matter - into a touchscreen with a new interface called ZeroTouch created by researchers at Texas A&M University. The system looks like a picture frame with infrared LEDs mounted along the outside that send invisible beams inside it. When a finger or hand crosses them, software tracks the movement and allows for interaction.
