The global market for Wind Power (Installed Capacity) is forecast to reach 707,570 MW by the year 2015, powered by rising demand for electricity, decelerating cost of wind energy and global initiatives to reduce carbon emissions. Developing regions are expected to be the major growth drivers for worldwide wind energy demand, while offshore wind power production is likely to outshine onshore sector in terms of growth.
