Google signs in to buy wind energy from a new plant. Google, apparently interested in all areas of the world including energy, announced the purchase of a 37.5% share of a project to build a wind farm, which runs along the U.S. Atlantic coast.
The network called “Connecting the Atlantic Wind” (AWC, for its acronym in English) shall extend for about 563 kilometers of coastline between the states of New Jersey and Virginia. The turbines to be used will have the capacity to produce up to 6,000 megawatts of power.
