During a recent trip to the smart-BRABUS factory in Bottrop, Germany, we got an exclusive peek at two very special concept smart cars designed for motorsport. Built in 2006 for Essen Motor Show, the smart-BRABUS forfour race concept has 210HP, 300Nm of torque and has been recorded via GPS hitting 240km/h (about 149mph), all finished a beautiful pearlescent silver. Could it be the fastest smart on the planet?
The smart-BRABUS roadster bi-turbo is one of only ten cars built in 2003 specifically for one race only. It offers 170HP, 220Nm of torque and is limited to 220km/h (about 137mph). Pretty impressive.
