Mitsubishi Electric have presented a concept demonstration of the Yamanote Train Net. This is a train information service for smartphones users on the Yamanote line in Tokyo, and it's available during October 2011.
This service delivers railway information and advertising via wireless LAN access points in the train. It will be provided in only one of the 52 trains on the Yamanote Line.
