Toyota Housing bring EV’s power to home

Toyota Housing builds an experimental house in Toyota City (Aichi Prefecture) that comes with the possibility to be powered by any EV or PHEV Cars (Electric Vehicle / Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) in case of emergency.

Equipped with photovoltaic cells, rechargeable battery, “EcoCute” heat pump-based water heater, LED lighting, as well as HEMS of Home Energy Management System these new Houses, this “Sincé Smart Stage”, the name of this experimental house has been designed to not only be the most eco friendly house with the lowest-Carbon foot print possible, but also been tuned still be capable to run during Blackout or disaster thanks to EV and PHEV energy as well as being capable to fully charge those cars during at low energy peak and in accordance with the user’s lifestyle.
