China, India Restructuring the Energy Pie with Wind Power: Pakistan Yet to Focus

In the Asian Triad it seems that the energy pie doesn’t warrant the same competition as other areas like defense except in the case of India and China. There seems to be a virtual ramping up of wind energy going on in these nations in order to make their energy pie more green and self reliant. This can be better understood through some statistics as China added around 16,500 MW of wind energy in the year 2010. On the other hand, in the same period India added 2139 MW whereas Pakistan did not add any noteworthy capacity. On the face of the planet; 194,390 MW wind energy capacity was measured globally and in absolute terms the net addition for the year 2010 was 35,802 MW.
