Xiaomei has been an assistant professor at Physics Department of University of South Florida since August 2006. Her expertise includes optical spectroscopies, organic semiconductors and optoelectronic devices, inorganic quantum dots synthesis and characterization, and solution processable photovoltaics.
Dr. Jiang is the inventor of SolarWindow technology, a solution-based technology used for spray-on solar tint that generates electricity from sunlight. She holds eight US & international patents. Dr. Jiang talks about the possibilities for power generation with this breakthrough technology.
