TEDxSoCal: Unite! by Rebecca Harrell Tickell

Rebecca Harrell Tickell dedicates herself to the advancement of women and the environment. She produced the award winning documentary, FUEL. She is currently Co-Directing and Producing a documentary called 'The Big Fix' which is an 'Official Selection' of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. She has spent the last year documenting and investigating the impacts and root cause of the BP oil spill.

She works with organizations such as Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots, the United Nations, and the Virgin Group. She co-directs the nonprofit I'll Be the One Organization, and is additionally producing two other films, one based on her book 'Hot, Rich & Green', about redefining feminism and the role of women in the environmental movement. As a child, she starred in the Orion (now MGM)'s Christmas Classic movie, Prancer. Tickell and her husband, Josh Tickell (director of 'FUEL' and 'The Big Fix') live in Venice beach, California with their pug Mr. Brown and algae gasoline powered car.
