United Nations, New York, October 2011 - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is helping twelve countries in the Caribbean, including Colombia, to understand and manage coastal pollution. Across the region, pollution by heavy metals, including mercury, is causing concern about its impact on the country's tourism and fishing industries.
