ABN AMRO neemt afscheid van Ajax met Dance4Life ! ABN AMRO neemt afscheid van Ajax met Dance4Life !
ABN AMRO neemt op zondag 20 april a.s. met de laatste competitiewedstrijd van het seizoen afscheid als hoofd- en shirtsponsor van de Ajax. Na 18 jaar komt hiermee een einde aan het hoofdsponsorschap. Vanaf volgend seizoen staat Aegon op de shirtjes.
ABN Amro heeft besloten het einde van de sponsoring niet ongemerkt voorbij te laten en op te dragen aan Dance4Life, de internationale organisatie de samen met jonge mensen de strijd aanbindt tegen hiv en aids. ABN AMRO gelooft in het gedachtegoed van Dance4Life en biedt hun daarom de wedstrijd Ajax-Heracles aan als platform voor hun boodschap. ABN AMRO is ook sponsor van Dance4Life en doneert het complete sponsorpakket van de wedstrijd aan de organisatie.
In de rust zal onder leiding van ex-TMF VJ Miljuschka The Partysquad een spetterend optreden geven. Ajax speelt de wedstrijd in shirts met het logo van Dance4Life in plaats van ABN AMRO en na afloop worden de shirts geveild, waarbij de opbrengst voor Dance4Life zal zijn.
Wereldwijd leven ruim 33 miljoen mensen met de ziekte en dagelijks sterven duizenden mensen aan de gevolgen van aids. Meer dan de helft van de mensen met hiv is jonger dan 25. Dance4Life roept daarom jongeren over de hele wereld op om in actie te komen. Bron: Molblog
Op de speciale afscheidssite Scoren met ABNAMRO worden de successen van 18 jaar sponsoring nog even samengevat. Vandaag, 14 april, worden hier de 120 winnaars bekend gemaakt van de ChampCamp prijsvraag. Het ChampCamp-feest begint met de wedstrijd Ajax-Heracles en na de wedstrijd zijn er allerlei leuke spelactiviteiten en zetten alle winnaars een tentje op in de Amsterdam Arena. ChampCamp wordt afgesloten met een surprise-ontbijt!
