Greenshirts is een Student Company (S.C.) opgericht door zeven milieu bewuste ondernemers van Hogeschool Tio Amsterdam. De onderneming is opgericht met het doel de CO2 uitstoot op deze aarde tegen te gaan met het planten van bomen in samenwerking met Trees for All. You buy a tee, We plant a tree!
Mooi dat studenten zich steeds meer gaan bezighouden met duurzaam ondernemen. Ik vraag mij wel af of de gekozen doelstelling wel zinvol is. Het kan toch nooit het doel zijn om CO2 uitstoot tegen te gaan door bomen te planten. Bovendien doet iedereen dat tegenwoordig. Ben zo onderhand wel heel benieuwd waar al die bomen worden neergezet. Mocht iemand daar wat foto- of videomateriaal van hebben, laat het ons even weten.
Tenslotte vraag ik mij af wie er zit te wachten op een T-shirt met de opdruk: I love Bush !! De naam Bush staat voor mij vooral voor geen aandacht voor de klimaatproblemen, schijnoplossingen en oorlog.
