Low Wind Turbine Deployable Micro Grid

This is FTC Energy's latest deployable microgrid. The unit contains lithium-ion batteries, inverters for both U.S. and European voltages, plus charging capability. It can be air-dropped, transported, and/or stored. The unit deploys automatically using its own batteries.
If the batteries are discharged, the wind directors can be opened manually to allow the wind to spin the turbine and recharge the batteries.

Unlocked, the wind directors fold around the unit automatically. The turbine can be lowered manually within seconds. The telescoping height can be selected so the unit can operate in a low profile mode. The solar panels are thin film light weight units. Multiple units can be combined to form a single large grid
