India Will Build Asia's First Commercial Tidal Power Project

Another step forward for tidal power (it's a long, long road, yes...): London-based Atlantis Resources has announced that it will be building a 50 MW tidal power project off the coast of India, in Gujarat's Gulf of Kutch. The project, a first for Asia, could be scaled up to 200 MW in the future.
